The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has released the Germany’s forest action plan for sustainable development in March 2017. The international forest policy of BMZ based on the three pillars: Forest conservation and climate change mitigation (REDD+); Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) and promotion of deforestation-free supply chains.
