As part of its support for the development of social forestry within Papua Province, Region III of the Maluku - Papua Social Forestry and Environmental Partnership Agency (BPSKL) held a coordination meeting with FORCLIME to discuss several programmes that are set to be jointly implemented in order to support the development of the Social Forestry Programme in Papua Province. The meeting was held at FORCLIME’s Jayapura office on 20 March 2023 and discussed plans for joint activities that will support the Forestry and Environment Service of Papua Province during the development of the Social Forestry Programme, including the restructuring of the Social Forestry Working Group, the membership of which is set to expire this year. In addition, the meeting also addressed activity plans that will support the process of finalizing customary forest applications in the village of Babrongko, and discussed specifically in relation to the preparation of the roadmap for the development of the Social Forestry Programme within Papua Province.
