In order to prepare a new forest management plan document (RPHJP), the Tambrauw Production Forest Management Unit (KPHP Tambrauw) wishes to implement biogeophysical and socioeconomic-cultural inventories within its working area. As a result, KPHP Tambrauw, supported by FORCLIME, held a meeting to provide training for the team that will carry out these surveys. The team comprises KPHP Tambrauw staff from the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Papua, who will be assisted by students who are completing internships with FORCLIME. This briefing activity was held on 24 January 2023 at the office of KPHP Tambrauw and was led by the Head of KPHP Tambrauw, Petrus Tawer, S.Hut. The purpose of the briefing was to provide information to the team members who will conduct the surveys on the various methods that will be used to complete the two inventories.

The surveys will be carried out between 26 January and 10 February 2023, while the inventoried results will be used as a basic reference during the preparation of the RPHJP document.
